Mental Health therapy in Golden, colorado for adults

Helping adults navigating loss and life changes move out of survival mode and into a life lived with resilience, meaning, and intention.

Reconnect with what really matters and find your way forward.

Black and white frame.

Have you been feeling like the life you want to live has been put on hold?

Maybe it’s been like this for a while.

Right now, you find yourself:

  • Exhausted from keeping it together while no one sees how much you’re holding

  • Caught in loops of overthinking, self-criticism, or anxiety that won’t let up

  • Navigating a loss or transition that knocked the wind out of you

  • Feeling like you're carrying so much, but unsure where to set it down

  • Longing for clarity, motivation, or just a moment to breathe

You’re not broken for feeling stuck. And you don’t have to untangle it all alone.

Mental health therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about reconnecting with yourself in a way that makes life feel more like yours.

When you're ready, I'm here.

MEET GABRIELLE SAMO, MA, LPCC, NCC

Welcome! I’m Gabrielle.

I’m a relational therapist, nature lover, and someone who knows how confusing and exhausting it can be to navigate life when the world expects you to hold it all together.

I’ve walked through grief, change, and disconnection myself; the kind of experiences that break you open and invite you to find a new way forward. That’s part of why I’m here: because I believe in the power of slowing down, listening deeply, and making space for your full humanity.

Therapy with me isn’t just about treating disorders. It’s about learning to live in alignment with who you are. In a world that pulls your attention in a thousand directions, therapy can be the space where you come home to yourself.

I bring in metaphors and perspectives from the natural world, because nature reminds us how to be cyclical, how to rest, how to grow in our own time. I bring warmth, humor, and deep curiosity, because I genuinely care about who you are and what matters to you.

You don’t have to walk this path alone. Let’s find your way forward together.

How I Can Help You

  • Therapy for Grief & Loss

Whether you’re grieving a death, a role, a relationship, or a life that no longer fits, we’ll slow down and honor what’s real.

No toxic positivity. No rush to “move on.” grief doesn’t follow a clean timelineJust space to process, remember, and figure out how to keep living with the depth of what you’ve lost and who you’re becoming.

  • Perinatal & Postpartum Therapy

Many parents say they’d die for their children, but would you go to therapy for them? When you’re their whole world, the way you care for yourself matters more than you think.

Pregnancy and postpartum can bring anxiety, intrusive thoughts, mood shifts, and an emotional intensity you may not have expected. What matters isn’t that you struggle, but how you support yourself through it.

  • EMDR Therapy for Trauma

If trauma shows up uninvited in your life, it can feel isolating, like a guest who never RSVP’d and refuses to leave. You didn’t ask for it, and you definitely didn’t give it permission, and yet it still pops up in your thoughts, your body, and your reactions.

In our work, we’ll use EMDR to help your brain finally process what’s been stuck. Think of it like gently clearing out the stuff that’s been crashing on your mental couch, making space for more calm, freedom, and ease in your life.

  • Therapy for Stress & Anxiety

Anxiety and depression are often signs that something is calling for your attention. I work with people who feel like they should be fine… and are exhausted from pretending.

We’ll uncover what your symptoms might be trying to communicate, better understand your patterns, and find sustainable ways for you to care for yourself.

  • Identity & Self Worth Therapy

So many of us were taught how to perform, produce, and meet expectations, but not how to understand ourselves.

In our work, we’ll take a closer look at the beliefs and roles you’ve absorbed over time. We’ll explore how those patterns formed, which ones are still serving you, and which ones it might be time to release.

  • Therapy for Perfectionism

You hold yourself to high standards, maybe impossibly high. On the outside, you seem capable and steady. On the inside, it can feel like you’re always chasing, never arriving.

In therapy, we’ll look at the pressure you carry, where it comes from, and what it would mean to soften. Not because you’re failing, but because you deserve to feel like enough.
